Where possible Boolean used Open Source Solutions to harness the power of distributed peer review and create a transparency of process. The promise of Open Source is better quality, higher reliability, more flexibility, lower cost, and an end to predatory vendor lock-in.

They also attempted to ‘eat their own dog food’, – meaning that they used the very same products they were recommending.
